SiS(R) Integrated 10/100 Ethernet drivers for Windows 95/98,

version 1.09 README

This package contains an update to the device driver for the
Intel PRO/100 Ethernet system that comes preinstalled in your
IBM(R) computer. This update requires approximately 1.25 MB of
space on your hard disk (drive C).  

This update package is intended for IBM Aptiva machine types 
2193-xx, 2194 (23B, 32B, and 441 only), 2196-xx, and 2197-xx
that come preinstalled with SiS Integrated 10/100 Ethernet 
drivers.

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the 
installation.


Downloading the update
----------------------
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.


Installing the update
---------------------
1.  Click Start -> Find -> Files and folders.
2.  Type qp6z07us.exe in the search box, then click Find Now.
    This will locate the qp6z07us.exe file you just downloaded. 
3.  Double-click the icon for qp6z07us.exe. The directory should
    remain C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\QP6Z07US.
4.  Click Next.
5.  Click I Agree.
6.  Click Finish.
7.  Click Yes.
8.  Click OK. The setup program will run. Follow all onscreen prompts
    and reboot when done.
