Installing Windows98 Audio Device Driver

Note: It is not necessary to uninstall previous versions
        of this driver. Upgrade will remove any previous versions.

To Install the Windows98 audio device driver:

1. From the Windows Start Menu, select Start -> Run.
2. In the Run dialog box type in X:\path\setup, where
     X:\path is the full path to the source files.
3. Follow the directions on the screen.
4. Click on the OK button or press the enter key.
5. When the system start to reboot, remove the diskette
     from the drive.
6. When Windows restarts it will automatically detect the ESS
    Audio feature and install the driver.

NOTES:

1) The ESS Driver should be installed prior to installing the ESS Wavetable software.

2) During the reboot portion the driver install, an Add New Hardware wizard will pop up
    asking for the location of the Oemsetup.inf file.  Enter the path A:\

3) During the re-boot after driver install, the gameport joystick driver may not be found.
   The user has to enter the path c:\windows\system to point to the msjtick.drv to load
    a joystick driver.
