1. Installation for Windows 2000 1. Unzip the Windows 2000 driver package into its own directory. For example C:\HCF_DRIVERS. 2. Turn off power to your PC, remove PC cover, insert the HCF card in an available PCI slot, close the PC cover, and turn on power. 3. When Windows 2000 loads, it will detect the new hardware and a box appears with the following text: "Wizard will complete the installation of PCI Communications Device". Click "Next >". 4. When prompted click on "Other Locations" and then browse to the directory in which you unzipped the driver package. Click "OK". 5. Another box will appear with the text "Windows found the following driver for this device. Conexant PCI Modem Enumerator". Click "Finish". 2. Installation for Windows 2000, Silent Install. 1) Unzip the Windows 2000 Driver package into its own directory. 2) Turn off power to your PC, remove PC cover, insert the HCF card in an available PCI slot, close the PC cover, and turn on power. 3) When Windows 2000 loads, it will detect the new hardware and a box appears with the following text: "Wizard will complete the installation of PCI Communications Device". Click "Cancel" 4) After Windows boots up, browse to the location where the Windows 2000 Drivers were unzipped to. Then doubleclick on "Setup.exe" 5) The drivers will be silently installed.
