For Windows NT 4.0, please use the following package: Wireless LAN Software for Cisco Wireless LAN MiniPCI Card for Windows NT 4.0 for ThinkPad The Wireless LAN driver enables or updates the Wireless LAN function of the following ThinkPad computers with the following adapters - Cisco Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card. This release supports the following systems: - ThinkPad T30(*1)/T40(*2)/T40p(*3)/T41(*2)/T41p(*3)/T42(*2)/T42p(*3) - ThinkPad X30(*2)/X31(*2) - ThinkPad R32(*2)/R40(*2) NOTES: *1: Only the following T30 models support the Windows Me: 2366/2367-x1x, x2x, x3x, x4x, x5x, A6x and A7x except for M1x, M2x, M3x, M4x and M5x. *2: Windows Me is not supported. *3: Supports Windows 2000/XP. To determine if you should update the Wireless LAN driver, refer to the "Summary of Changes" section. To update the Wireless LAN driver, refer to the "Installation Instructions" section. If you use IBM Access Connections, to keep software compatibility, please update it to the version 3.30 or later. Click the Load Firmware icon. 3 Specify the file name of the Firmware with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. Utility Version determining To check the version of the Utility Software that is installed on your system: 1. Open Aironet Client Utility 2. Click Help, then click About Aironet Client Utility. Tips for LEAP Authentication ---------------------------- To utilize LEAP authentication, it is required to install Cisco Aironet Client Utility(ACU) with LEAP authentication feature selected.
