To update the Bluetooth software, refer to the "Installation Instructions" section. Installation Instructions ------------------------- IBM Integrated Bluetooth IV Software is already installed on your ThinkPad preload. Uninstall the software from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel or by using ThinkPad Software Installer to enable Microsoft Bluetooth software. Uninstall IBM Integrated Bluetooth IV Software 1. On Windows XP, Click Start, select Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs. 2. Select IBM Integrated Bluetooth IV Software and click the Remove button. 3. When the following message appears click the Yes button: "Are you sure you want to remove IBM Integrated Bluetooth IV Software from your computer?" Uninstallation will start. 4. When a pop-up window appears that request the system restart, click OK to restart the system. Installation instructions 1. Start Windows XP 2. Check if Windows XP SP2 is already installed. 3. Turn the Bluetooth power on. 4. If the Found New Hardware Wizard' window is opened, select Install from a list of specific location (Advanced) and click Next button. 5. Select Search for the best driver in these locations:, check Include this location in the search, and input the location you put the Microsoft Bluetooth support file to. 6. click Next. The driver will be loaded automatically.
