DOWNLOADING THE UPDATE
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.


EXTRACTING THE UPDATE
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
1.  Click Start,--> Search.
2.  Type 62tq05ww.exe in the "Search Box"
    This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3.  Double-click the 62tq05ww.exe icon.
4.  Click Next. Read the license agreement.
5.  Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
6.  Click Next.
7.  Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to
    C:\DRIVERS\VISTA\TCHPSY
8.  Click Next. The necessary files will be extracted to the 
    C:\DRIVERS\VISTA\TCHPSY folder.
9.  Click Finish.



INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED:

Open our control panel and go to the "Device Settings" page. At the top of 
the page is the verison number of the driver

INSTALL:
1. Start Windows Vista and log on with administrative privileges.
2. Extract the Synaptics Touch Pad files to the hard disk drive.
   When downloaded file is extracted in the local drive, it is located in
   C:\DRIVERS\VISTA\TCHPSY directory by the default. 
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. In the Open field, type SETUP.EXE in the extracted directory to install
   the application.
   Click the NEXT button to start the installation process.
   If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that
   location instead.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the
   Installation.

UNINSTALL:

1. Open Windows Control Panel
2. Select Programs and Features
3. Select 'Synaptics Pointing Device Driver' then click 'Uninstall'
4. Follow the instruction for uninstallation process.


UNATTENDED INSTALL(For <OS'S>):
Use the following syntax:

  setup.exe -sw
