What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the software support for the ThinkPad
UltraNav Pointing Device for Microsoft Windows Vista 32-bit.

This release supports the following systems:

  - ThinkPad R61
    (type 8914, 8918, 8919, 8920, 8927, 8928, 8929)

  Notes:
    -  The TrackPoint driver does not need to be installed on the
       UltraNav models.

Installation Guide

Notes:
- To determine if you should update the utility programs, refer to the
  "Summary of Changes" section.

INSTALL:
 1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\UNAV
 3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click 
    Run... 
 4. Specify "DPInst.exe" with the full path name where you 
    extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\UNAV\DPInst.exe
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

UNINSTALL:
 Uninstallation is supported by Uninstall a program of Programs and Features
 in Control Panel.
 You must logon with administrative privileges.


Silent Installation Guide (for Unattended Installation support)

Note: This is for system administrators' use only.

 1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\UNAV
 3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click 
    Run... 
 4. Specify "DPInst.exe /sw /se /f" with the full path name where you 
    extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\UNAV\DPInst.exe /sw /se /f
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
