What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the audio driver for Windows NT 4.0 users.
The audio driver enables or updates the audio function of the
following ThinkPad computers:

  - ThinkPad 240X, 240Z

To determine if you should update the audio driver, refer to the
"Summary of Changes" section.

To update the audio driver, refer to the "Installation Instructions"
section.

Installation Instructions
-------------------------
NOTE:
 To determine if you should update the audio driver, refer to the
 "Summary of Changes" section.

INSTALL:
 1. Start Windows NT 4.0 and log on with the user ID authorized as
    an administrator.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start and then click Run.
 4. Type in C:\DRIVERS\WNT\AUDIO\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and
    click the OK button.
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
 6. Restart the system for the driver to be effective.

DETERMINING WHAT VERSION IS INSTALLED:
 1. Find the file cwcfm.sys at \\winnt\system32\drivers\ in Windows
    Explorer.
 2. Right-click this file and choose Properties.
 3. Choose Version tab.  The version is displayed here.
