What This Package Does ---------------------- This package provides the Ethernet driver for DOS(*1) and OS/2. The Ethernet driver enables or updates the Ethernet function of the following adapters on the following ThinkPad computers. E100B.DOS in "PRO100\DOS" sub-directory for "Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection" E1000.DOS in "PRO1000\DOS" sub-directory for "Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT Mobile Connection" The DOS driver can be used only for this purpose. OS/2 ---- The OS/2 device drivers are located in the following folders: "PRO100\OS2" for "Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection" "PRO1000\OS2" for "Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT Mobile Connection" UPDATE INSTALL: 1. Double click "OS/2 System" icon on the desktop. 2. Double click "System Setup" icon. 3. Double click "MPTS Network Adapters and Protocol Services" icon. 4. Click "Configure" button in "Multi-Protocol Transport Services". 5. Confirm that "LAN adapters and protocols" is selected and click "Configure" button. 6. Click "Other adapters..." button. 7. Select one of the following Ethernet adapters in "Network Adapters" per your Ethernet device. Confirm that "Update CONFIG.SYS" is selected and click "Exit". 15. "CONFIG.SYS Updated" to be displayed and then click "OK" button. 16. Click "Exit" button to exit "MPTS". 17. Reboot the system. Confirm that "Update CONFIG.SYS" is selected and then click "Exit". 15. "CONFIG.SYS Updated" to be displayed and then click "OK" button. 16. Click "Exit" button to exit "MPTS". 17. Reboot the system.
