What This Package Does
-----------------------
The Media Control Buttons enables or updates the Media Control Buttons
functions for Windows 98/Me/2000/XP.
This release supports the following ThinkPad computers:

   - ThinkPad i Series 1200(1161-11U/41U/51U/71U)
   - ThinkPad i Series 1300(1171-21U/2AU/61U/71U/81U/91U) *1
     *1 1171-21U/2AU/71U supports Windows Me/2000.
   - ThinkPad i Series 1200(1161-42U/62U/92U)
   - ThinkPad i Series 1300(1171-5WU/5BU/7WU/6LU/9LU)
   - ThinkPad i Series 1200(1161 - 43*, 73*, 93*, 94*, 96*)
   - ThinkPad i Series 1300(1171 - 4**, 6MU, 8MU, 9MU)

Installation instructions
-------------------------
NOTE:
 Before installing Media Control Buttons, install Easy Launch Buttons 
 II.

 1. Start Windows 98/Me, or start Windows 2000/XP and log on with a 
    user ID authorized as an administrator.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start, then clck Run.
 4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\MMKEY\setup.exe in the Open box and click OK.
 5. Click Next to continue with the setup program.
 6. Follow the procedure to complete the installation.

Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------
Windows 98/Me
 1. Start Windows 98/Me.
 2. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
 3. Open the Add/Remove Programs icon.
 4. Click the Install/Uninstall tab
 5. Then it will show MMKEY in the list with version number.

Windows 2000
 1. Start Windows 2000.
 2. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
 3. Open the Add/Remove Programs icon.
 4. Then it will show MMKEY in the list with version number.

Windows XP
 1. Start Windows XP.
 2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
 3. Open the Add/Remove Programs icon.
 4. Then it will show MMKEY in the list with version number.
