What This Diskette Does

The package enables or updates the Modem Ring wake up function of
the following ThinkPad computers:

   - ThinkPad i Series 1400*

     *NOTE:
      Only the following Model/Type numbers are supported:
      2611 - 40x, 412, 452, 456, 47x, 49x, (43x's except 434, 435)

Installation Instructions
-------------------------
 1. Start Windows 98 or Windows Me.
 2. Extract the Modem Ring package onto the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start, then click Run.
 4. Type in C:\DRIVERS\W9X\MODEMRNG\setup.exe in the Open box.
    Then click the OK button.
 5. Click Next to continue with the setup program.
 6. Follow the procedure to complete the installation.
