Turtle Beach Santa Cruz audio driver for Microsoft Windows Me, 2000, and XP version 5.12.1.4167 Installation README This package installs an update to the Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Me, 2000, and XP device driver for the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz audio adapter that comes preinstalled in your IBM(R) computer. This update requires approximately 80MB of space on your hard disk (drive C). This update package is intended for IBM NetVista systems that come with a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz audio adapter. Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation. Downloading the update ---------------------- 1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page. 2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file. Installing the update --------------------- 1. Click Start, select Find or Search, then click Files and folders. 2. Type 909z06us.exe in the search field, then click Find Now. This will locate the 909z06us.exe file you just downloaded. 3. Double-click the 909z06us.exe icon. 4. Click Next. Read the license agreement. 5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement. 6. Click Next. 7. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\909Z060US. 8. Click Next. 9. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation. Shutdown and restart your system when the installation is complete. Removing the drivers -------------------- Win2K & WinME 1. Go to Windows Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs. 2. Select the ‘Santa Cruz’ driver from the list and click the Change/Remove button to remove the drivers from the system. 3. Shutdown and restart the system to fully uninstall the driver. WinXP ‘Classic View’ Windows Control Panel 1. Go to Windows Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs. 2. Select the ‘Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Driver’ from the list and click the Change/Remove button to remove drivers from the system. 3. Shutdown and restart the system to fully uninstall the driver.
