IBM RecordNow and Veritas MyCD software update for Microsoft Windows 95, 98, 98SE, NT 4.0, Me, 2000, and XP version 4.5 build 29 Installation README This package installs a RecordNow update for the CD-RW software that comes preinstalled in your IBM(R) IntelliStation(R) or IBM(R) NetVista(R) computer. This update requires approximately 30MB of space on your hard disk (drive C). This package applies to IntelliStation E Pro (Type 6214 and 6204) and NetVista 2254, 2256, 2257, 2273, 2283, 2289, 2292, 6043, 6049, 6274, 6290, 6336, 6337, 6339, 6341, 6342, 6343, 6346, 6347, 6348, 6349, 6350, 6596, 6790, 6791, 6792, 6793, 6794, 6795, 6822, 6823, 6824, 6825, 6842, 6843, 6844, 8181, 8182, 8301, 8303, 8304, 8305, 8306, 8307, 8308, 8309, 8310, 8311, 8312, 8313, 8314, and 8315 systems. Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation. Downloading the update ---------------------- 1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page. 2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file. Installing the update --------------------- For Windows 98, 98SE, Me, and NT 4.0: 1. Click Start, select Find, then click Files or Folders 2. Type b91z23us.exe in the search field, then click Find Now. This will locate the b91z23us.exe file you just downloaded. 3. Double-click the b91z23us.exe icon. 4. Click Next. Read the license agreement. 5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement. 6. Click Next. 7. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\B91Z23US. 8. Click Next. 9. The setup program will run. Follow all onscreen prompts and reboot when done. For Windows 2000: 1. Click Start, select Search, then click For Files or Folders. 2. Type b91z23us.exe in the search field, then click Search Now. This will locate the b91z23us.exe file you just downloaded. 3.
