SAVEUTILITY/2 MANUALS FOR CORRECTIVE SERVICE DISKETTE (CSD) 1.11 This package contains PostScript files for three manuals that accompany the Corrective Service Diskette (CSD) for SaveUtility/2 Version 1.1. Before using them, you should already have installed the CSD and read its accompanying CSDREAD.ME file. New and changed sections are marked with a vertical bar in the left margin. The manuals are contained in three self-extracting files that expand into PostScript files when executed: SU2INSTL.EXE SaveUtility/2 Installation Guide SU2HAND.EXE SaveUtility/2 Handbook SU2MESSG.EXE SaveUtility/2 Messages You must have access to a PostScript printer and be familiar with the process of printing PostScript documents in order to print these manuals. The content of these manuals is identical with the online documentation (.INF files) shipped with the Version 1.11 CSD. DIFFERENCES FROM SAVEUTILITY/2 VERSION 1.1 DOCUMENTATION This section describes changes to the publications that have been made since SaveUtility/2 Version 1.1 was produced. INSTALLATION GUIDE Chapter 7: A Walk Through SaveUtility/2 This is a new chapter containing a practice exercise with which to familiarize yourself with basic SaveUtility/2 features. HANDBOOK Chapter 5: Restoring to a DOS Workstation. o There is a new section describing how to restore files to a directory other than the one from which they were backed up. o Step 1 in the section Restoring One or More Files has been replaced by three steps. o The SU2RREQ command under Restoring One or More Files has been changed. o Restoring a Full System has changed and been split into two parts. Chapter 7: Command reference In Version 1.1, Chapter 7 was titled "Reviewing and Changing Profiles." That material has been consolidated with Chapter 9: Profile Reference. In the new Version 1.11 manual, Chapter 7 now contains command reference material. The following changes apply: o The SU2CRITF material is a complete replacement for the same section in the Version 1.1 Handbook. o The SU2BDSK0 command has changed. o The SU2RREQ command section has been revised to show function not described in Version 1.1. Chapter 8: Profile Reference o There is a new section for the DOS subscriber function profile. o Separate DOS and OS/2 descriptions of SU2RREQ have been combined. MESSAGES A number of messages have been added to Chapter 17: SU2TSN Transport Messages.
