This package is NOT for 22P7801 or 31P6401 options. 1.1 Limitations ----------------- This package is ONLY for 31P6301 option. 2.0 Version Information _________________________ b57diag.exe 6.18 ee5703c2.33 2.33 b57pxe.bin 6.2.11 Firmware 2.33 fixes an issue where, in Linux, after a system reboot, the adapter MAC address may be set to all 0's. 3.0 Build and Installation Instructions _________________________________________ 1) Place all files in the package into a diskette or a directory in the system hardfile that can be accessed from a DOS boot. 2) With the adapter in the system, boot up the system into DOS. 3) Run the following DOS command: b57diag -c n -e b57kia -f ee5703c2.33 -ppxe b57pxe.bin This will flash the adapter to the new firmware and PXE code. 4) Shut down and reboot. Note: The 'n' in the DOS command is the device number for the adapter.
