This software release support xSeries options 22P7801, 31P6301, and 31P6401. 1.1 Limitations _________________ No known limitation. 2.0 Update Info _________________ baspnt4.sys v6.09 for NT 4.0 baspw2k.sys v6.09 for Windows 2000 baspxp32.sys v6.09 for Windows 2003 32-bit x86 Key update with v6.09 release: Enhancement to avoid BASP running out of receive buffers and also to provide correct link down status reporting to the OS. With previous BASP sw, the system can experience intermittent network traffic failure due to receive buffers running out and improper link down status reporting. For more details, read the release.txt file that comes with each of the driver above, in the directory for each. 3.0 Build and Installation Instructions _________________________________________ It is best first to download the v7.05 CD image on this URL for the overall user's guide on how to uninstall current BASP sw in your system, in Windows NT 4.0, or 2000, or 2003. For NT 4.0, remove all current teaming configurations. Uninstall your current BASP installation level by right click on Network Neighborhood then -> Properties -> Protocols. Reboot and then from Protocols above, do Add then Have Disk. Then point to the BASP files from \NT4 directory in this BASP package to install new BASP 6.09. For W2K, remove all current teaming configurations. Then, from Settings -> Network and Dial-up Connections -> Local Area Connection -> Right click and select Properties -> General -> Then uninstall "Broadcom Advanced Server Program Driver. Then, run Baspinst.exe from \W2K in this package. For Windows 2003, similarly to the above for W2K, uninstall all current teaming configurations and existing BASP.
