STG Viewer Version 1.1.0.0 Readme NOTE: You must have administrator privileges before attempting to install this application. This version will only work with the MVP Pro SE cards with the latest Video for Windows driver installed (version 1.0.4.0). The Video for Windows driver is automatically installed as part of the STG Viewer installation process. Controls The Viewer has various control interfaces. Changes can be made by right clicking on the overlay window to bring up a pop-up menu They can be docked, (wherein they are part of the main display window) or they can be remote, enabling them to be positioned wherever the user wishes. There is also the option of having 'Standard' or 'Advanced' controls. The 'Standard' controls give basic functionality whereas the 'Advanced' controls give the user greater control over what they want to do. When changing between different sources, the control interface will automatically change to offer the appropriate controls for that input. For example when changing from a composite input to a tuner input up and down channel buttons will be added to the control interface Features When the controls are remote and the application window is maximized, the user has the option of removing the borders so that the display appears fullscreen. This is set via the preferences property page. If desired the remote controls can be hidden via the preferences page. The Screensaver can be disabled while the application is running, and it will be re-enabled when the application closes. The application can maintain the aspect ratio of the overlay. Known Issues When the application is first run the user may have to select the correct video format (e.g. PAL, NTSC) from the 'Video Format' dialog, which is accessed by right clicking the video window. There can sometimes be some display corruption when using the Viewer over multiple monitors. This problem can be eased by turning bitmap caching off from the MVP configuration page.
