Complete Microsoft Windows 9x, NT 4.0, 2000, XP 32, and Itanium 64 Drivers software package for all IBM Gigabit and 10/100 Ethernet. This software is fully Microsoft certified with CAT files. This gold v6.2 software release will replace previous v3.1 and v5.1 software releases for the above adapters. For Desktop 10/100 and GbE adapters, Windows 9x, NT 4.0, 2000, and XP 32 are supported. For Server 10/100 and GbE adapters, Windows NT 4. and Windows 2000 are supported. Windows.NET 32 and 64 are only supported for the beta .NET OSes available at the time of this release. This package is created by PackageForTheWeb, which allows users to be able to extract all files and directories into either the default destination provided or any drive destination the users wish to specify. 1.1 Limitations ----------------- This drivers software requires Microsoft Service Pack 5 or later for Windows NT 4.0 installation. For Windows 2000, at least Service Pack 2 is required. 2.0 Change History ____________________ v6.2: This new v6.2 software release replaces the previous v3.1, v5.1, or older software releases for IBM Gigabit and 10/100 Ethernet Adapters. Then follow the steps for creating an adapter team. 9) Click on Close and assign IP address either static or dynamic. 10) Reboot your system Note that, with NT 4.0, the Adapter Properties PROSet2 Utility tools and GUI are installed automatically with the drivers. Windows 2000 ============ 1) Make sure the adapter is physically installed in your server or work station prior to installing the driver software. 2) Verify that your system is properly installed with Windows 2000 OS. 3) After logging in to W2K, W2K will detect the adapter with the W2K Wizard window. Click Next. 4) Select Search, then click Next. 5) In the Locate Driver window, select the floppy drive box or CD-ROM if you are using the sw CD-ROM, then click Next. 6) Click Next. 7) Click OK to start the drivers copying and installing process. 8) Click Finish. 9) Install PROSet2 Adapter Properties Utility program 10) Note: If you are installing multiple adapters and want to set up Failover Team, go to PROSet2, Right Click on one of the adapters and follow the steps there to create a Team. With W2K, PROSet2 is not installed automatically with Drivers sw install. To install PROSet 2, you will need the whole drivers sw CD or the more complete package posted at IBM Options web.
