Running Utility from an LS-120 Diskette. - Download the files of the IBM xSeries 380 SDR Version-13 from http://www.pc.ibm.com/support to Local Hard Drive. - Unzip the files - Copy the files to the LS-120. 3.2. Copy Utility to Hard Drive using 1.44 floppy's (If only 1.44 floppy available) - Download the files of the IBM xSeries 380 SDR Version-13 from http://www.pc.ibm.com/support to Local Hard Drive. - Unzip the files. - Copy frusdr.efi to Disk-1. - Copy remaining files to Disk-2. - Copy 1.44 floppy's to Hard Drive. - Bring server up to EFI shell. - Insert Disk-1 issue "cp fs0:*.* fs1:\sdr13 - Insert Disk-2 issue "cp fs0:*.* fs1:\sdr13 3.2 The procedure to check SDR Version is as follows: 1. Boot to EFI Shell - Insert the LS-120 diskette or go to Hard Drive Directory SDR13. - Type: map -r (Map's available devices) (find the file system (fsx:) defined to the specific media being used) Device:00 is LS-120, Device:80 or 81 is Hard Drive - Type: fsx: (fsx:=fs0:, or fs1:, or fs2:) - if runing from Hard Drive Type: cd sdr13 - Type: frusdr -d sdr Note: SDR version will be displayed on the Right side of the last record. if SDR version is at 13 or higher do not update: 3.2 The procedure to update to SDR Version-13 is as follows: 1.
