Note: The Boot Block jumper is located near the front of the chassis, adjcent the FDD connector. Note: There may be several minutes where the system will beep, as the recovery process proceeds. When the recovery is complete the system will shut down. 3.7 After the shut down, remove AC power from the system. 3.8 Remove the top cover from the system. 3.9 Move the Boot Block jumper (JCON1) back its original location for normal operation covering pins 1 and 2. 3.10 Replace the top cover and remove the "IBM x226/Z20 System BIOS Recovery Diskette" from the fixed floppy diskette drive A. 3.11 Verify that the DMI/SMBIOS strings are correct for the "IBM x226/Z20 system.
