Broadcom Firmware Update Utility

This package performs an update of the ethernet firmware of the
IBM eserver xseries 450/455. This package will set the firmware
level version 3.36.

This code only applies to IBM eserver xseries 450.

Current Version 3.36
- Changed Serdes power dissipated default value.

- Fixed problem where Port 0 & Port 1 TxSerdes override value was
  swapped in b57diag

- Fixed problem where DMA engine would come up uninitialized.

- Added feature to blink LEDs when ASF code fails to load.
- Fixed problem where System may hang when PXE is enabled but no
  PXE image exist.

- Modified the work-around for 133mhz PCIX NIC bluescreen issue. The
  work-around will only be applied to systems with Ax chips. The problem
  has been fixed on Bx chips.

- Get phy id from phy register instead of NVRAM configuration
- Enable phy in cold reset.

3.0   Installation and Configuration

Use the following command to update the firmware:

       b57diag64 -firm fw.bin 

If more than one ethernet device exists in the server, all devices
which match the PCI vendor id, device id, SSID, and SSDID will be
updated.  In general, add-in adapter cards (NICs) will not match the
devices which are imbedded in the server and will not be updated.
