  Support is provided for SAS drives via the ServeRAID 8i adapter.

  Images for the following diskettes are in this update:

                        - Image for creating the "ServeRAID 8i Support
                          for RedHat Enterprise Linux 4 U1 diskette
                          for Intel and AMD 32 bit and 64 bit kernels
                          used for fresh installation of RHEL4 U1

 
  1.2 RPM for SAS 8i controller

  Images for the following diskettes are in this update:

                        - RPM for updating the "ServeRAID 8i Support
                          for RedHat Enterprise Linux 4 U1

2.0  Instructions for installation
_________________________________________

    To create a diskette, refer to the ServeRAID 8i Device Driver
    Installation Instructions (DEVDRV.PDF) in the /BOOKS directory
    on the "IBM ServeRAID-8i Support" CD.

    To use the rpm for upgrading existing SLES9 installations, 
    refer to the ServeRAID 8i Device Driver Installation Instructions 
    in the /BOOKS directory on the "IBM ServeRAID-8i Support" CD.
