To avoid any difficulty, be sure that each application has previously been launched before you migrate a profile that includes application settings. 4.2 SOCKs and peer-to-peer migration If SOCKS is enabled on either the source or target system, it might interfere with a peer-to-peer migration. Disable SOCKS before beginning a peer-to-peer migration. 5.0 SUPPORT WEB SITES The following Web pages provide resources for understanding, using, and troubleshooting SMA and and other ThinkVantage(TM) Technologies software: o IBM System Migration Assistant home page http://www.ibm.com/pc/us/think/thinkvantagetech/ systemmigration/index.html Use this Web page to learn more about SMA and its features. o IBM System Migration Assistant support page http://www.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do? lndocid=MIGR-50889 Use this Web page to download the latest SMA software and documentation. o IBM Support page http://www.ibm.com/pc/support/ Use this Web page to access the IBM Support Web site for IBM hardware and systems-management software. 6.0 NOTICES INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATION PROVIDES THIS PUBLICATION "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
