 IBM PC 300 Series 6577 and 6587 systems preloaded with                         
 Windows 3.11 may display a "Service Layer Not Running"                         
 error the first time that the DMI Browser application is                       
 executed.                                                                      
                                                                                
 This is a one-time error condition.  Powering the system off/on                
 will eliminate the cause of the error.
