 PURPOSE:

 This ECA provides for the replacement of Fiber Channel cables in
 a limited number of Netfinity systems.

 The cable may be replaced for any of the following reasons:

 - damaged, or suspect for any reason
 - used in a raised floor environment (color is confusing)
 - the customer expresses a requirement to change the cable color

 This is NOT a mandatory ECA.

 DETAIL:

 FOR 5M Optical Cable:
 - Replace Gray OPTION p/n03K9306 - with Orange Cable (03K9202)
   supplied in B/M kit p/n37L0413.

 FOR 25M Optical Cable:
 - Replace Gray OPTION p/n03K9305 - with Orange Cable (03K9204)
   supplied in B/M kit p/n36L9970.

 Note: Orange is multimode and currently the defacto industry
 standard for short-wave 50 as well as 62 micron.

 NOTES:

 This ECA is "AS REQUIRED".

 This ECA is scheduled to be withdrawn November 10, 2004.

 Parts in "Features" Section, under "B/M to be Installed"
 column, MUST BE Ordered Code "B".

 The removed parts are the property of IBM and should be
 removed from the account. Dispose of them per your
 country guidelines and local branch office procedures.

 USA:
   IBM PSS/TSS CE's should record all time and parts to
   Service Code 33, ECA028, Other Office 990.
   Travel Time = 0.8Hrs.

   USA Business Partners: Warranty claims for ECA Reimbursement
   should be submitted via ECLAIM using Type Service 0E. Refer
   to the Service Support Guide (SSG) for details.

 EMEA:
   IBM PSS CE's should record all time and parts to
   Service Code 33, ECA028, (M/T number) Other Office 990.
   Travel Time = 0.8Hrs.

   EMEA Business Partners: Refer to Warranty Claim System;
   Use Emergency Claim 5 (ECA) and enter into CPPS:

   Machine Type as required.
